A China-based travel design company with over a decade of high-end operating experience.
Founded in Chengdu in 2013, Joy Traveller has grown from a specialist in distinctive long-haul journeys into a team trusted by travelers seeking carefully designed private travel. Our experience across polar, Africa and bespoke journeys gives us a disciplined way of planning: understand the person first, then shape the route, access and support around them.

Joy Traveller was shaped by our founder Danny's nearly 40 years of travel: more than 100 countries explored, and journeys to both the North and South Poles. For him, travel has never been about collecting passport stamps. It is about curiosity, understanding and meaningful encounters with people and place.
