Visit one of Chongqing’s most atmospheric traditional teahouses.

Meet Professor Chen Anjian, the teahouse owner and a professor at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, and hear the story behind the preservation of this iconic local space.
12:30｜Yangtze River Cableway
Ride the famous Yangtze River Cableway from south to north.
Rather than simply photographing the cable cars from below, cross the river yourself and enjoy a unique aerial perspective of Chongqing’s bridges, cliffs and skyline.
13:20｜Baixiangju – Inside Chongqing’s Vertical Neighborhood
Step inside Baixiangju, a 24-storey residential complex with no elevator and multiple exits connecting to different street levels.
Walk through its corridors and bridges, see everyday residential life and discover how Chongqing’s unusual geography has shaped the way people build and live.

Instead of stopping outside for a photo, follow our specially designed route inside Baixiangju to discover hidden viewpoints and understand the building from within.
14:50｜Shancheng Lane – Life on the Hillside
Walk downhill through Shancheng Lane, a century-old hillside neighborhood overlooking the Yangtze River.
Old houses, stone stairways, historic buildings and residential balconies reveal a slower, more intimate side of the city.

15:20｜The Wild Side of Chongqing’s 8D Roads
Continue by private vehicle through one of Chongqing’s rare air-raid-shelter gas stations, built directly inside the mountain.
Then drive across the dramatic Sujiaba Interchange, rising high above the city for a first-hand experience of Chongqing’s layered road system.
16:00｜Ride Metro Line 2 Through Liziba
Board Metro Line 2 at Liziba and experience Chongqing’s famous “train through a building” from inside the train.
After passing through the building, continue along the cliffside with views across the Jialing River.
Special Experience:
Most tours watch the train from the street. We actually take you onboard, giving you the first-person experience of Chongqing’s famous urban railway.
17:30｜Daijiaxiang / Hongyadong
Finish around Daijiaxiang or Hongyadong, where hillside architecture, bridges and river views become especially atmospheric as the city lights begin to appear.
You may also finish the experience with Chongqing hotpot inside a former air-raid shelter, overlooking the illuminated riverfront.
